HALLOWEEN Dungeon Quest Reborn Dungeon Quest Reborn Tier Lists

Weapon archetypes and ability priorities for Early Access PvE—compare rolls, then chase named endgame drops.

Last updated:

The HALLOWEEN Dungeon Quest Reborn meta is a loot ladder, not a collectible card game. Newer dungeon brackets print higher numbers, difficulty multiplies drop quality, and a single bad roll on a famous name can lose to a clean roll on a “boring” piece. This Tier List Hub explains how we rank weapon archetypes and abilities, then points you to the deep pages for named chase gear.

Use these rankings for PvE dungeon clears from Easy through Nightmare (and Hardcore when you accept the stakes). They are community snapshots for October 2026 Early Access—not developer grades. Always open the live item card and compare Physical, Spell, Stamina, and Health before you upgrade.

Weapon archetype overview (S–C)

Archetypes describe how a weapon wants to be played. Named drops inside each archetype still need roll checks.

S-tier archetypes — Sceptre and Sword

Sceptre leads Spell-focused Mage routes: safer spacing, clean Spell scaling, and natural pairing with Focus-line buffs. Sword leads flexible Physical Warrior routes: reliable melee tempo, simple room control, and broad armor synergy. If you only memorize two shapes for HALLOWEEN Dungeon Quest Reborn, memorize these.

Why they sit in S:

  • Match the two primary damage stats (Spell / Physical) without awkward hybrids
  • Scale cleanly when you invest upgrade gold into the correct line
  • Pair with the best endgame buffs (Enhanced Inner Focus for Spell, Enhanced Inner Rage for Physical)
  • Stay relevant from early Desert Temple practice into Enchanted Forest chase pieces

A-tier archetypes — Bow and Great Sword

Bow rewards kiting, line-of-sight play, and parties that need a safer DPS seat. Great Sword hits harder per swing with slower commitments—excellent when you already know boss telegraphs. Both are excellent; they ask more positioning skill than Sword / Sceptre defaults.

B-tier archetypes — Dagger, Axe, War Hammer, dual-style hybrids

These shine in specific rooms or personal comfort picks. Daggers favor mobility; axes and hammers favor committed trades and stun-feel windows depending on the live card. Equip them when the roll beats your current keeper—not because the silhouette looks cooler in the lobby.

C-tier archetypes — Off-stat curios and novelty holds

Starter leftovers, wrong-stat experiments, and nostalgia holds belong here until a real upgrade drops. Sell or park them. Gold at the Upgrade NPC should fund your main archetype, not a museum.

Enchanted Forest and the named chase layer

Once your archetype is stable, the named ladder matters. Community snapshots repeatedly place Enchanted Forest Ultimates such as Eden’s Vengeance (Warrior) and Eden’s Reaper (Mage) at the top of the chase list, with Eldenbark Legendaries as realistic stopgaps. Later brackets (Northern Lands, Gildenscale, and seasonal overlays) reshuffle numbers—always re-check rolls after updates.

Halloween branding and the Gilded Skies window (October 17, 2026) may add cosmetic noise; they do not change the rule: compare the card, then the name.

Ability highlights (hub summary)

Abilities compete for scarce Q / E slots across two sets (press F to swap). Priority themes:

  • S — Enhanced Inner Rage (Warrior / Physical) and Enhanced Inner Focus (Mage / Spell) from high Enchanted Forest difficulties. These buffs define endgame damage floors.
  • A — Universal Heal for dedicated support seats; Whirlwind for early Warrior room clear; Lightning Strikes and other focused Mage damage tools; Berserk, Enchanted Shuriken, Phantom Blades / Striker as strong mid-late options.
  • B / C — Progression fillers (Slam, Innervate, Rending Slice) and early curios (Blue Fireball, Holy Barrier, and similar) that you replace as better cards drop.

Healer and Tank roles still need a damage plan for solo queue, but party value spikes when Universal Heal or barrier tools are slotted intentionally. Details and dungeon notes: abilities tier list.

Stamina and Health matter for surviving Nightmare telegraphs even on pure DPS seats. Do not dump every upgrade into damage if you wipe before the boss chest.

Ranking rules we follow on this wiki

  1. Rolls over names — A weak Ultimate loses to a strong Legendary roll you can equip now.
  2. Difficulty context — Nightmare cards outpace Easy nostalgia drops.
  3. Build fit — Physical weapons on Spell builds are traps.
  4. Upgrade budget — Only sink gold into keepers.
  5. Patch humility — Early Access numbers move; re-verify after notes on the Updates Hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for HALLOWEEN Dungeon Quest Reborn players.

What are the best weapon archetypes in Dungeon Quest Reborn right now?

Sceptre (Spell) and Sword (Physical) are the S-tier defaults. Bow and Great Sword sit in A as excellent but more positioning-sensitive options. Always confirm the live roll.

Should I chase Enchanted Forest Ultimates immediately?

Chase them when you can clear the required difficulty consistently. Until then, upgrade strong mid-ladder rolls in your archetype instead of dying for a name.

Which abilities are mandatory for endgame?

Enhanced Inner Rage for Physical/Warrior and Enhanced Inner Focus for Spell/Mage are the S-tier buff priorities. Slot them as soon as they drop and your difficulty allows.

Do Halloween cosmetics change the tier list?

Cosmetic and event branding do not override Physical/Spell rolls. Treat Pumpkin King theming as flavor unless a patch note changes combat numbers.

Where are the detailed weapon and ability tables?

Open the Weapons tier list and Abilities tier list child pages linked from this hub. This page stays as the overview and archetype guide.
